BELIMEDO PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated on December 08th, 2021

The Belimedo Privacy Policy is designed to help you better understand the information we may collect and the different ways we may use or share it.

This policy applies to your use of the Belimedo services. By “Belimedo services,” we mean any of our websites, games, applications, or other products or services that link to this policy. The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which may also apply to your relationship with Belimedo, depending on how you choose to interact with us. Please read this entire policy to make sure you fully understand it. You should also be sure to carefully review other terms potentially applicable to your visit and your use of specific Belimedo services (such as the use of your Belimedo Player Account (hereinfater BPA) in case you choose to have one), and confirm that you understand and agree to them, before using the Belimedo services.

Please see “How to Contact Us” below to learn more about sending us any privacy-related questions or concerns you may have.

Information We May Collect

As a starting point we aim not to collect information, at least not too much information, user identifiable and particularly not personal information, unless the latter would be unavoidable and we would anyhow get your consent.

The way modern internet servers operate is that they monitor and register all the traffic, so that part is unavoidable, yet it does not include personal information. When you play our games those are either standalone and not interacting with Belimedo or they do interact following your consent.

When we do collect information, we generally may collect information in three ways: (1) you voluntarily provide information to us, such as by creating an account or signing up for email alerts, (2) we collect information automatically from your use of the Belimedo services, such as through cookies or our games and other software, and (3) other parties, such as game console platforms may provide information to us.

Cookies

The use of cookies on our websites is limited to first-party cookies and those visitiors opting for their use. In this case, 1st party cookies are those cookies produced by this very site.

There are no 3rd party cookies.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers and often helping carry user preferences for interaction with the website, like the language selection or similar. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. Easily understandable information on cookies can be found at GDPR.EU.

How We Use and Share Information

As a general matter, we may use information, if a must, but do not share information, unless it would be unavoidable and necessary in order to comply with legal obligations.

We may collect (either individually or in combination with other information collected as described in this policy) to help us provide, improve, customise, analyse, and market the Belimedo services where we have an appropriate basis to do so.

(1) We may use the information:

We store information for as long as we reasonably need it to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected. For example, if you create a BPA, we will store the information associated with your BPA for as long as needed to maintain your account, provide the Belimedo services you requested, enforce any applicable terms that govern your use of the Belimedo services, and maintain appropriate records to reflect our delivery of the Belimedo services to you. We periodically review the information we retain to determine whether continued storage is proper.

(2) Sharing

No sharing, unless legally required.

Your Choices and Controls

We look to provide you with meaningful choices throughout your interaction with Belimedo and we aim to require only the information that is necessary. You are free to choose how you interact with Belimedo and you can always decide not to interact. The latter may however result in unavailability of certain services and/or features or they may not work as intended. You would also be able to change your mind with the effects from that point onwards. In case you are using a BPA, that can be deleted from the interface once you are logged in.

How We Protect Information

We aim to maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information from accidental, unlawful, or unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration, access, disclosure, or use and other unlawful forms of processing. In some cases, your information is accessible when you log into a feature we offer, and in those cases you need to keep your user credentials and password confidential and secure so that your information is protected.

Children’s Privacy

Belimedo services are intended to be appropriate for general audience and are not directed specifically towards children (usually considered to be under 13, depending on where you reside). Belimedo does not collect personal information from children.

Updates to Our Privacy Policy

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our personal information practices or relevant laws. We will indicate at the top of this policy when this policy was last updated. Please review this policy every time you access or use Belimedo services to make sure that you have reviewed the most recent version.
